History
Nucor Building Systems began in 1987 with the construction of the first Nucor steel building systems division in Waterloo, Indiana. As a result of continued success and focus on long-term growth, Nucor Building Systems has three manufacturing operations located in Waterloo, Indiana, Swansea, South Carolina and Terrell, Texas. Nucor Building Systems also has a Sales Office in Lancaster, Pennsylvania serving the Northeast. On September 28, 2006, Nucor Corporation announced plans to construct a fourth plant in Brigham City, Utah. Nucor Building Systems is a division of Nucor Corporation, which is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Nucor Building Systems now employs over 700 people.
